      Upright shrub with stout shoots. Flowers, 3cm (1¼in) across are produced in terminal, upright panicles 15-20cm (6-8in) long, with the leaves in late spring. Yellow-green marks at the petal bases mature to brown.

      Pruning: Minimal pruning required. Prune wayward or crossing branches to maintain a healthy framework.
