SucculentPerennial succulent with emergent stems to 5m (16ft) long bearing rosettes to 3m (10ft) across of stiff, lance-shaped, pointed leaves to 70cm (28in) long with many small marginal teeth. Pyramid-shaped panicles to 5m (16ft) long of drooping branches carry groups of 2-4 flowers 4cm (1½in) long. Numerous bulbils are also produced.
