      Bushy shrub, eventually small tree. Produces panicles 5cm (2in) long of small, cup-shaped flowers from the leaf axils. Can produce small, berry-like red fruit which split to reveal shiny, black seeds. Bark and fruit are also aromatic

      Pruning: Minimal pruning required. Prune wayward or crossing branches to maintain a healthy framework.
