  • Evergreen - oval, grey-green leaves to 3cm (1¼in) long

  • Dwarf shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions. - compact, mound-forming, spreading shrub. Produces flowers in short terminal racemes 3-6cm (1-2½in) long.
  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
