    Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions.
    Small, compact, mounding shrub. Produces small trusses of abundant funnel-shaped flowers 4-5cm (1¼-2in) long

    Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)

    One of the 50 Kurume hybrids collected by Ernest Wilson. This was No. 8, called 'Dainty'. Excellent in group plantings. Shallow planting is essential. Mulch annually with leafmould in early spring
