    Elliptic to lance-shaped, softly hairy, mid-green leaves 2.5-5cm (1-2in) long.

    Upright, often semi-scandent (uses lax stems to aid support) shrub. Produces long-tubed, pendent flowers 6-7cm (2½- 3in) long in terminal corymbs
  • Tender - cool or frost free greenhouse Tolerant of low temperatures, but not surviving being frozen. Except in frost-free inner-city areas or coastal extremities requires glasshouse conditions. Plant can withstand temperatures down to 1°C (34°F)
