  • Ground cover - These plants are typically low growing and spread quickly to inhibit weed growth on areas of bare soil - compact shrub with rolled back leaves. Produces urn-shaped flowers to 7mm (¼in) long in racemes to 5cm (2in) long
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)

  • Pests & Diseases - fungal attack from Phytophthora root rot, Pythium, Rhizoctonia in warm, wet conditions.
