CAMELLIA sasanqua 'Rosea Plena'
Sasanqua. Old fashioned original form of sasanqua with tiny pink flowers from October onwards. Compact habit and small curling leaves
Evergreen - elliptic, oblong or broadly elliptic leaves to 8cm (3in) long, dark green above, paler beneath.
Shades of pink - All shades of pink through to Carmine (red)
Height - to 6m (20ft)
Spread - to 3m (10ft)
Tall Shrub - upright to spreading shrub or small tree. Produces flowers 5-7cm (2-3in) across.
Half hardy - unheated greenhouse / mild winter - Hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK except in severe winters and a risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good micro-climate. Likely to be damaged or killed in cold winters. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C (23°F)
Full sun - keep roots cool and moist.
