Large white showy flowers in late spring fading to pink

  • Deciduous - heart-shaped, tapered, toothed, deeply veined, dark green leaves to 10cm (4in) long. Leaves turn red-purple in autumn
  • White - fading to pink
  • Height - 3m (10ft)
  • Spread - 4m (13ft)
  • Tall Shrub - spreading, bushy shrub. Produces sterile flowers in terminal, dense flower heads to 10cm (4in) across
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
  • Full sun
