BETULA utilis subsp. albosinensis 'China Ruby'
Commonly known as Chinese red-barked birch
An original Chinese introduction by Ernest Wilson and arguably one of the very finest birches for its bark. Peeling bark is creamy-white flushed grey and pink maturing to a coppery-red. Spectacular! Limited availability
