  • Deciduous - greyish green, ovate-rounded leaves to 11cm (4½in) long, with heart-shaped bases.

  • Spread - 3m (10ft)
  • Climber - Some of these climbing plants will need trellis or wire supports if grown on walls or fences. Other grow aerial roots and are self-clinging - vigorous, woody climber, clinging by aerial roots. Produces domed corymbs to 25cm (10in) across of fertile and sterile flowers
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
