  • Evergreen - bright green rounded leaves 8-14cm (3-5½in) long on stalks 4-18cm (1½-7in) long
  • White
  • Height - 1-2m (3-6ft)
  • Spread - 1-2m (3-6ft)
  • Medium shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - robust-stemmed, sparsely branched shrub, often spreading with age. Produces bowl-shaped flowerheads 12-30cm (4¾-12in) across with cream bracts
  • Half hardy - unheated greenhouse / mild winter - Hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK except in severe winters and a risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good micro-climate. Likely to be damaged or killed in cold winters. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C (23°F) - under glass grow in a mixture of 1 part loam with added charcoal and 3 parts equal measures of grit (or perlite) and peat. Grow in full light.
