    Paired, mid-green leaves to 12cm (4½in) long, blue-white beneath, the upper pairs united. Bronze tinted when young.

    Woody, twining climber. Produces long-tubed, 2-lipped flowers to 8cm (3in) long in large, terminal whorls, followed by red berries
  • Hardy - cold winter Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
