    Commonly known as Chopstick plant, Nanten, Sacred bamboo

    The new growth has an attractive vibrant reddish then purplish hue before eventually turning green

      Upright, bushy shrub. Flowers have large, yellow anthers followed by long-lasting red fruit

      Action: Trim back shoots that spoil symmetry and to fit available space.
