  • Deciduous - broadly ovate, sharp-pointed, toothed, red-stalked leaves to 16cm (6¼in) long with heart-shaped bases
  • Height - 15m (49ft)
  • Spread - 10m (33ft)
  • Tree - slow-growing tree. Produces dense, pendent, small flowers each surrounded by a pair of leafy, oblong, pointed white bracts of unequal size. Fruit is a solitary, greenish brown drupe to 4cm (1½in) across
