    Remarkably long, stalked leaves to 15cm (6in) long or more

  • Tall Shrub
    Loosely branched, rounded shrub. Produces terminal umbels of up to 10 tiny flowers on long, thread-like stalks followed by roundish, angled woody capsules to 12mm (½in) across with red seeds
  • Hardy - average winter
    Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
