    Variable, broadly to narrowly ovate, pointed, sparsely toothed leaves to 16cm (6¼in) long, with strongly oblique and sometimes heart-shaped bases. Tufts of brown hair in the leaf axils

    Tall tree with a half-rounded or slightly conical crown. Produces compact cymes to 3cm (1¼in) across of 10-15 long-stalked flowers

    Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe. Plant can possibly withstand temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F)
  • Full sun
    Avoid very dry conditions and protect from strong winds
  • Partial shade
