Commonly known as American Judas tree, Eastern redbud

(syn. 'Flame Thrower'). Plant of the Year Chelsea 2021. New leaves red, changing to orange through to yellow. As new leaves develop, each stem carries all colours at the same time. Small pink flowers on bare stems in spring.
