  • Shades of pink - All shades of pink through to Carmine (red) - bluish pink

  • Tall Shrub - erect habit. Produces medium-sized flowers
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)

  • Additional Features - Good to know - - syn. C. 'Hagoromo'. Makes a good patio plant.
  • Pests & Diseases - aphids, scale insects, vine weevils, leaf spot.
  • Place of origin - Japan. A Japanese camellia of antiquity, imported into Italy in 1886 and given its present name.
