  • Evergreen - oval to rounded dark-green leaves to 10cm (4in) long.
  • Blue
  • Height - 6m (20ft)
  • Spread - 8m (26ft)
  • Tall Shrub - vigorous, spreading shrub or small tree. Mid-blue flowers in large, pyramidal, terminal and lateral panicles to 12cm (5in) long.
  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
  • Full sun - with shelter from cold winds. Most do well trained against a wall.
