    Wide-spreading shrub with tangled, spiny branches. Later flowering and more compact than other varieties. Flowers in clusters of 2-4 followed by apple-like, aromatic, green-yellow fruit to 6cm (2½in) long.

    Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe. Plant can possibly withstand temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F)
