Evergreen - shuttlecock-like crowns of strap-shaped, bright-green fronds to 40cm (16in) or more with wavy margins.
Height - 45-70cm (18-28in)
Spread - 60cm (24in)
Fern - erect to shortly creeping rhizomes. Sori(clusters of spores) are arranged in a herringbone fashion.
Hardy - very cold winter - Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe. Plant can possibly withstand temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F)
Additional Features - Good to know - - the familiar native.
