    ROBINIA

    Commonly known as False acacia

    Genus of about 6 species of deciduous trees and shrubs found in woodland and thickets in the USA and northern Mexico.

    All parts of the plant are toxic except for the flowers which can be made into tea and are eaten in pancakes and fritters in Europe.
