  • Deciduous - three- to five-lobed heart-shaped leaves to 30cm (12in) long turning bright-red in autumn.
  • Height - to 15m (50ft)
  • Spread - 90cm (36in)
  • Climber - Some of these climbing plants will need trellis or wire supports if grown on walls or fences. Other grow aerial roots and are self-clinging - vigorous, woody climber. Produces small, unpalatable, blue-black grapes 1cm (½in) across.
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
