PHYTOLACCA
Commonly known as American pokeweed
Genus of about 25 species of perenials, shrubs and trees found in open fields or woodland in tropical and sub-tropical areas of Africa, Asia and North to South America.
They are grown for their attractive fruits though they are highly toxic.
