Grows up to 6ft eventually with bright red flowers and darker markings on pendent slender branches, like small lanterns. Tender except in the mildest areas

    Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height
    Initially erect, then arching shrub. Produces usually solitary, narrowly urn-shaped flowers 2cm (¾in) long from the leaf axils. Flowers have V-shaped darker red markings.

    Tolerant of low temperatures, but not surviving being frozen. Except in frost-free inner-city areas or coastal extremities requires glasshouse conditions. Plant can withstand temperatures down to 1°C (34°F)
