ESCALLONIA
Easily-grown, adaptable jack-of-all-trades for a garden sheltered from cold winds. Loves to be beside the seaside.
Genus of about 50-60 species of mostly evergreen shrubs, or more rarely, small trees found in woodland and scrub, and often on mountains in South America.
