ARISTOLOCHIA

Commonly known as Dutchman's pipe

Genus of about 300 species of evergreen and deciduous climbers mostly from moist woodland in temperate and tropical regions of both hemispheres.

Pollinated by flies which explains the carrion-scented flowers of some varieties.
