Ordering Plants from the Burncoose Nurseries Catalogue

This guide will show you all the great features we've built into our basket and checkout process to make the shopping process as painless and easy as possible, and to point you in the right direction if you need more information on anything concerning the placing of orders with Burncoose Nurseries, whether you're a first-time home gardener, an overseas customer, or a professional landscape gardener looking to place trade orders.

Update Your Shopping Basket

Once you've started adding plants to your shopping basket, you can view the full contents of your basket at any time.  There is a quick glance view of your basket in the right column, and links to view your basket here, and in the top menu.
When viewing your shopping basket, you can update the quantities of any items, and remove items by setting their quantity to 0. If you have changed your mind and updated any items, a quick click of the 'Update Basket' button will re-calculate the order total for you, so you always know how much you're spending.
Don't forget that many of our plants are cheaper the more you buy!
Once you've got everything you want, click on the 'Proceed to Checkout' button to begin our simple checkout process.

Your Basket Number

Throughout your entire visit to Burncoose and through the whole ordering process, you can now see your Basket Number, as pictured here. If you need to contact Burncoose at any time regarding problems with your basket or order, then just quote your basket number, which will help us to help you!

Saved Basket
This is a great feature, especially if you need to check something before finalizing your order, or are planning to build up a large order over time.
If you have not registered on our site before, then it will guide you through registering before it can save your current basket.
If you have registered previously, then signing in will allow you to save your basket.
Any items currently in your basket will be saved, and you can come back to the site at any time in the future to pick up your saved basket and continue shopping from where you left off!
When you want to continue shopping with your saved basket, all you have to do is sign in to the Burncoose Nurseries website, select 'My Burncoose', and you'll see a summary of your saved basket with the option of picking it up and continuing shopping with it!

Sign In or Register as a New Customer

If you've never registered or place an order before, then you have the option to be automatically registered when you place your first order through our website. This is no longer mandatory though, but if you choose not to, your details will not be remembered for future orders.

Alternatively, you can sign in or register at any time by clicking on the 'log in' button along the toolbar or following the link below.

The benefits of having your details registered include the ability to store and remember your name and address details for future orders, and to re-order your favourite plants from orders you've placed previously.

The Checkout

The checkout process is split into four easy steps, allowing you to register, login or to not have your details saved.
  1. Billing and Delivery
    Here you can choose to use your existing billing and delivery addresses, or supply new ones. You also get to supply any discount codes that have been emailed to you to redeem against your order, and you get the chance to specify any plant substitutions you'd prefer if any are acceptable.
    Finally, you get the chance to opt-in to receiving our newsletters, and to order a printed catalogue to be sent to your billing address.
  2. Delivery Options
    Stage two is where you get to choose your delivery option - depending on your delivery address and size of order. You can also supply special delivery instructions and personal delivery messages.
  3. Payment Details
    Here, you are shown the final total of your order, taking into account all discounts and offers, and your selected delivery option. You have the option of paying by cheque, Credit or Debit card. All transactions are handled securely and encrypted, and although the site will remember your name and address details, for extra security, it will not keep hold of your card details.
    This is also an opportunity to make sure that you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.
  4. Order Complete
    Once you have submitted your payment details, the order is placed, and you are presented with a summary of your entire order details.
    You can print this page for your records, and in addition, you should receive details of your order by email too.
