Waxy flowers with a spicy scent in winter.
Introduced to UK in 1766 when it was grown under glass at Croome Court, Worcs.
Flowers at Chinese New Year when flowering sprigs are used as adornments.
Genus of 6 species of deciduous and evergreen shrubs from woodland in China.
