Once established resist the urge to move them as they are unlikely to survive.
Genus of 44 species of evergreen, cormous perennials usually found in mountainous grassland areas of Ethiopia, eastern and southern tropical Africa and South Africa.
Bulb/Corm or rhizomatous perennial - cormous perennials. Erect, or semi-erect, thin, grass-like, mid- to grey green leaves to 90cm (3ft) long. Overtopped in summer by pendent, funnel- or bell-shaped flowers on arching stems.
Additional Features - Good to know - graceful plants beside a pond or stream.

Place of origin - Ethiopia, eastern and southern tropical Africa, South Africa.
Soil Conditions - Tolerates all - humus-rich and well drained. Once established will tolerate poor dry conditions - rockery or even gravel drives!
