  • Evergreen - pinnate, grey-hairy leaves to 7cm (3in) long.
  • Yellow
  • Height - 1m (39in) plus.
  • Spread - 1m (39in) plus.
  • Dwarf shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions. - vigorous shrub with upright shoots. Flowers 5cm (2in) across on long stalks, singly or in clusters.
  • Half hardy - unheated greenhouse / mild winter - Hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK except in severe winters and a risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good micro-climate. Likely to be damaged or killed in cold winters. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C (23°F) - use loam-based compost (JI No. 2) with added sharp sand. Grow in full light.
