Commonly known as Pearl bush
Genus of 4 species of deciduous shrubs found in woodland from central Asia to China and Korea.
A study resulted in the probability that all descended from one species, E. racemosa, whose range has been fragmented by habitat loss, the slight differences being caused by geographical separation.
Deciduous - shrubs. Leaves are entire or toothed.
Partial shade - light, dappled shade
Additional Features - Good to know - grown for their habit and showy flowers.
