HOVENIA
A small tree whose origin is unknown. H. dulcis is used in Thailand as a reforestation subject as it benefits the environment in which it is grown.
Given a long, hot summer, when the shoots can ripen, can produce fragrant flowers.
Genus of 7 species of deciduous trees found in woodland or forest, cultivated and naturalised in eastern and southeastern Asia.
