    Commonly known as Chinese fringe flower

    Genus of 3 species of rounded, evergreen shrubs or small trees found in woodland in the Himalayas, China and Japan.

      A member of the witch hazel family. Produces clusters of fragrant, spider-like flowers. Useful for a woodland garden.
