      Spreading large shrub or small tree with slender, angular, often pendent stems. Produces spherical flowers 5mm (¼in) across in short, axillary racemes 2-4cm (¾-1½in) long

      Suitable for: Evergreen shrubs that require minimal pruning.
      Action: Trim or lightly cut back shoots that spoil symmetry. Deadhead regularly.
      When: Annually after flowering.

      Tolerant of low temperatures, but not surviving being frozen. Except in frost-free inner-city areas or coastal extremities requires glasshouse conditions. Plant can withstand temperatures down to 1°C (34°F)
