    Commonly known as Yew

    Genus of 5-10 species of broadly rounded to upright, mainly dioecious evergreen, coniferous large shrubs or trees found in forest extending from northern temperate regions to the Philippines and Central America.

    The native is T. baccata, Common, English, or European yew.
