    Herbaceous climber with bright yellow flowers

    Genus of about 10 species of tendril-climbing plants from woodland and forest margins, hedges and field margins in full sun or partial shade in the Himalayas and adjacent China.

    Annual stems emerge from dahlia-like tubers and climb into the sun.
