    GALANTHUS

    Commonly known as Snowdrop

    Genus of about 20 species of bulbous perennials from woodland and rocky sites flowering from late autumn and mid spring.

    The Common snowdrop, nivalis is an introduction from mainland Europe and now extensively naturalised.
