    ZANTHOXYLUM

    Commonly known as Yellow wood

    Genus of 200 or more species of spiny, deciduous or evergreen trees and shrubs, mainly from forest in Asia, Australia, North to South America and Africa.

    Used as bonsai trees.

    The fruit of several species is used to make Sichuan pepper.
