Commonly known as Pampas grass, Tussock grass

Well-known plumes in silver, gold or rose-pink rising from dense tussocks of rough or sharp narrowly linear leaves.
CAUTION - sharp-edged leaves.
Genus of 25 species of evergreen or semi-evergreen, perennial grasses from grassland, often near water, in New Zealand, New Guinea and South America.
