    Genus of about 30 species of bulbous perennials, some evergreen, found on screes, rock ledges and in other well-drained or arid sites in southern Africa.

      Early in the year, typically January till end of March, herbaceous plants might be supplied in 9cm pots to ensure timely despatch.
