  • Deciduous - semi-evergreen and evergreen perennials.
  • Herbaceous - Early in the year, typically January till end of March, herbaceous plants might be supplied in 9cm pots to ensure timely despatch.

  • Partial shade - for border perennials
  • Additional Features - Good to know - generally unfussy and long-flowering. Wildlife plant - nectar and pollen for insects.
  • Pests & Diseases - chrysanthemum eelworm, powdery mildew.
  • Place of origin - northern and central America.
  • Resistant to honey fungus - These plants have little or few problems with honey fungus.
  • Soil Conditions - Fertile well drained soil - border perennials. Give winter mulch.
  • Well drained, dry, poor to moderately fertile soil - sharply drained in full sun for shrubby and dwarf species.
