x SYCOPARROTIA semidecidua
Glossy dark green leaves with yellow autumn colour. Bright red flowers with brown bracts when only hamamelis and parrotias are also in flower. A cross between sycopsis and parrotia which makes a fine if unusual addition to an early spring garden
