    Commonly known as Meadow anemone, Pasque flower

    MAR-APR

    Genus of 36 species of clump-forming, deciduous perennials found mainly in short turf and alpine meadows in Eurasia and North America.

    The rare native is found on calcareous grassy slopes and old earthworks, mainly in the Cotswolds.
