Grey silken leaves and clusters of bright yellow pineapple-scented flowers. Best on a wall
Deciduous - silvery-grey leaves to 10cm (4in) long.
Height - 5m (16ft)
Spread - 5m (16ft)
Tall Shrub - vigorous, upright tree-like shrub, spreading with age. Flowers, 1.5-2cm (½-¾in) long, in dense, upright, terminal racemes to 15cm (6in) long.
Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
Harmful if eaten - These will give you an upset tummy, so please don't eat any of these.
Additional Features - Good to know - attractive to bees and other insects.
