FRITILLARIA
Genus of about 130 species of bulbous perennials found in a range of habitats from woodland to open meadows and high screes through the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere.
The native, rather rare meleagris, the Snake's Head is found wild in southern counties and often in gardens.
