"Over the Garden Hedge"
This year Louisa Lazarowicz & Eve Swanson are heading up our Chelsea team, and below are sketch plans for the circular stand we will be taking this year.
The theme of this year's Chelsea stand is 'Over the Garden Hedge'
Celebrating rare and unusual plants, not often found in the average garden. The display will showcase hidden gems incorporated into a lush, naturalistic display.
The stand will feature an impression of a Cornish hedge, marrying two gardens; on one side a temperate rainforest inspired garden, and over the hedge will be drought tolerant coastal planting.
Gardens are a wonderful place to create microclimates and spaces that support diversity, both from an ecological and sociological perspective; think of the hedge, not as a barrier, but as a point of connection.
'Over the Garden Hedge' encourages us to look to our neighbours and celebrate the harmony and flow of two worlds coming together.
