Book Signing

We are delighted to announce that Shirley Clemo MBE, will host a book signing event here at the nursery on Sunday 15th March.

 Awarded an MBE for her services to gardening, Shirley and her late husband Raymond grew a collection of 6,500 plants that form Pinetum Gardens.  Excitingly, many of these plants are rare and unusual and were grown using the product of seed from specialist plant hunters.

Shirley, like her book, is full or energy and passion and packed with a host of ideas that inform and inspire every type of gardener.  The event begins at 11am, after which people can purchase her book priced at £11.99. Shirley will be happy to sign/dedicate copies when requested.

The pop-up café will also be open, and Gila is offering Friends of Burncoose free tea or coffee, including free refills with any savoury or sweet bake bought.  For this offer, you will only need to show Gila your Friends of Burncoose membership card.

This is an outdoor event (weather permitting, if not we will move under cover) so reservation is not necessary however if you would like to let us know you are coming please reserve below.
