      Best as a central feature as, although slow-growing, makes a small tree after many years

      Spreading shrub. Eyecatching crimson fruit clusters 7.5cm (3in) long which split open to reveal orange-red seeds

      Pruning: Minimal pruning required. Prune wayward or crossing branches to maintain a healthy framework.
